Synopsis

Karin Maaka is a vampire, but not the typical kind. Unlike her family, she's active during the day and sleeps at night—basically the opposite of what vampires are supposed to do. More importantly, nobody in town knows what she really is, and she wants to keep it that way. If word got out, her normal life would be over. That all changes when Kenta Usui transfers into her class and witnesses her biting someone. He jumps to the obvious conclusion that something sketchy is going on and tries to confront her about it. Karin immediately starts avoiding him, which only makes him more determined to figure out what's actually happening. But whenever he gets close to her, she suddenly gets a massive nosebleed. Turns out that's her real secret. Karin doesn't need to drink blood—she actually produces way too much of it, and the excess comes pouring out of her nose if she doesn't get rid of it somehow. The weird part? Her body reacts strangely to Kenta specifically, making the nosebleeds even worse around him. Now that he knows the truth about her, the question is whether he can be trusted to keep quiet.
