In a world where AIs are as normal as people, Vivy is a groundbreaking autonomous humanoid—the first of her kind. Her job is simple: use her incredible voice to make everyone happy through singing. Problem is, she has the technical chops but can't quite figure out the emotional depth that actually moves people. Then things get weird. Vivy's systems glitch, and a blocky AI named Matsumoto shows up in her data files claiming he's from a hundred years in the future. His story is grim—in his time, AIs have rebelled against humanity and caused massive destruction. Now he's come back with a mission: work with Vivy to prevent history from going that way, by changing key moments before it's too late. Vivy decides to help him, even though it means diving into a century-long operation to save humanity from itself.
