Samurai Spirits: Makai Bugeichou
It's 1787 during Japan's Tenmei Era—a brutal time of plague and starvation where most swordsmen are just adding bodies to the streets. Enter Nakoruru, an Ainu priestess connected to nature; Haohmaru, a reckless samurai with a death wish; and Hanzo, a ninja serving the Shogun. These three samurai are bound by fate and determined to face what's coming. Under Nakoruru's leadership, they take on the supernatural threats of the Dark Kingdom, commanded by Madou Shiranui, a half-human sorcerer. Shiranui's plan is simple but devastating: spark a war between Japan's feudal lords. The chaos and destruction that follows will leave the world vulnerable for the Dark Kingdom to invade Earth itself. The question is whether three warriors can actually hold back an entire army of demons bent on conquest.
