Niwa Makoto is a high school student living with his aunt's family while his parents are away on business. There he meets his cousin Touwa Erio, who's his age but decidedly unusual—she wraps a futon mattress around her upper body and insists she's an alien. She lives on pizza and has no memory of the six months she went missing before washing up in the sea. Unable to explain the gap in her past, Erio concludes she must be an extraterrestrial and now wanders around town bundled in her futon, investigating.
