Yoshizou Yukawa is obsessed with hot springs—he's got an almost supernatural ability to track them down. While searching for a hidden spring to save a struggling town, he accidentally falls off a cliff and dies. An Inari deity from a tiny shrine decides to give him a second chance by reincarnating him in another world. His new companion is Mayudama, the deity's messenger princess. Yoshizou's hot spring obsession kicks in immediately when he discovers a spring and takes a bath with Mayudama. Then an elf girl shows up and things get more interesting.
