A curious slime monster stumbles upon a dead body in the forest and does what any slime would do—takes it over to become human. Sounds simple enough, except there's a major problem: the corpse belongs to Lady Jelly, a genuinely awful noblewoman whose horrible personality probably got her killed in the first place. Now the slime is stuck with her, and backing out isn't an option. The only way forward is to completely turn Lady Jelly's reputation around and make her beloved—basically turn a villain into a saint. The catch? If anyone figures out there's actually a slime running around in a dead woman's body, the whole plan falls apart. So the real question becomes: can this weak creature pull off the impossible and reinvent Lady Jelly as a saintess while keeping its true nature secret? Or is it doomed to stay at the bottom of the food chain forever?
