Synopsis

The world is split between humans and monsters called katawara. Tama is a katawara herself, but she's devoted to protecting humans—even if that means fighting against her own kind. Her brother Jinka is basically the opposite: he's mostly human but despises humans anyway. They team up with Shinsuke, a timid swordsman looking to toughen up and actually become skilled. Things get serious when the group discovers someone's running experiments to turn humans into katawara. They decide to take down whoever's responsible, no matter what—even if they have to go up against an entire army of fighters. Along the way, they'll encounter unforgettable people, explore strange new places, and face off against creatures they'll never forget.
