Synopsis

Five-year-old Lynn travels to England with her Japanese mother to meet her father, but the two are killed in a car crash along the way. Lynn survives and, after recovering, moves into the English manor owned by her father, a nobleman. Struggling to adapt to upper-class life, Lynn seeks approval from her older half-sister Sara, whose mother is also deceased. Sara initially keeps her distance, worried that Lynn's outgoing nature will steal their father's affection—and possibly the attention of an attractive young man from a neighboring estate. But as things unfold, Sara's icy demeanor begins to shift.
