Synopsis

At his grandfather's funeral, bachelor Daikichi Kawachi stumbles upon a young girl named Rin Kaga hiding alone in the garden. She turns out to be his grandfather's illegitimate daughter—a secret no one in the family wanted to acknowledge. When nobody steps up to take her in, Daikichi is disgusted by their callousness toward an innocent kid. He decides to raise her himself, even though he's young, single, and has zero experience as a parent. What follows is the story of how these two unlikely people build a life together and find their way forward.
