Synopsis

Takayama Naoto, a second-year student at Kiryu Tetsudou High School, gets stuck with an internship at the Public Rail Road Security Corps—basically the last place he wanted to end up. All he was hoping for was some boring, low-stress assignment where he could coast through life. Instead, he's landed in one of the most dangerous jobs in Japan. The Security Corps is all that stands between the country's railroads and an extreme-leftist group hell-bent on privatization. The problem? Naoto's got zero training, zero motivation, and somehow he's supposed to survive what amounts to an actual war over the rails.
