Binghuo Mochu
Nian Bing's parents were a fire mage and an ice mage—until the Ice Lord killed them both. He inherited their magic gems and, while fleeing from the Ice Lord's forces, pulled off something no mage should be able to do: cast fire and ice magic simultaneously. He doesn't make it far before falling off a cliff and losing consciousness. An old man finds him and nurses him back to health. When Nian Bing wakes up, the guy offers him food that completely blows his mind—turns out this old man is no ordinary cook. He's a legendary spirit chef, and he's decided Nian Bing is going to be his apprentice whether he likes it or not. Now Nian Bing has to figure out how to balance his quest for revenge against the Ice Lord with his new calling to master the culinary arts.
