Rin Suzune is a nine-year-old kid trying to run her family's restaurant alone after her parents died. She has no idea what she's doing when it comes to cooking or actually managing a business, so naturally things aren't going well financially. On top of that, she gets bullied at school for being poor. But Rin's a tough kid who doesn't give up easily. Even though the food at her restaurant isn't great, people from the neighborhood keep coming back—not because of the cooking, but because they're charmed by how genuine and hardworking she is, and they want to help her out.
