Synopsis

Uryuu Kamihate spent most of his life in an orphanage dreaming of becoming a doctor, so when the Amagami Shrine finally offers him a place to stay, he jumps at the chance. There's just one catch—he's a committed atheist, which makes living at a shrine more than a little awkward. When he arrives, Uryuu finds he'll be sharing the space with three shrine maidens from the Amagami family. There's Yae, the sweet and childlike oldest sister; Yuna, the hot-headed middle sister who immediately butts heads with him over religion; and Asahi, the playful youngest who's quick to befriend him. While Yae and Asahi are welcoming, Yuna makes no secret of her disapproval. Still, Asahi eventually discovers the real reason behind Uryuu's loss of faith, and things start to calm down between them. Just when life seems to be settling into a new normal, the girls' grandfather Chidori drops a bombshell: Uryuu can stay at the shrine on one condition. He has to marry one of the sisters and take over running the place.
