Ninja were once merciless demigods who ruled Japan through martial prowess during an age of ninja dominance. Fujikido Kenji is an ordinary salaryman whose wife and child are caught in the crossfire of a ninja gang war. Facing his own death, Fujikido becomes possessed by a mysterious ninja spirit. He survives the encounter and transforms into Ninja Slayer—a vengeful instrument of death determined to hunt down and destroy the evil ninja that plague the city.
