Haruka is a sixth-grader who's basically obsessed with swimming—he loves the feeling of being in the water more than anything. He swims at a local club with his best friend Makoto and Nagisa, a kid a year younger than them. Then winter rolls around and graduation's coming up, and this guy named Rin transfers to their school from another swim club. Through swimming, Haruka gets closer to all three of them, especially Rin. Rin's really into the medley relay and eventually convinces them to form a team and enter a tournament together.
