Synopsis

Set in a distant future where the virtual fighting game Rhyme dominates popular culture and everyone carries around AllMates—personal AI devices—the story follows Aoba, a guy living a pretty mundane existence. He works at a junk shop and lives with his grandmother in Midorijima, content to stay out of the Rhyme scene and the gang culture that surrounds it. This sets him apart from his friends, but he's fine with that. Things change when people start vanishing from the island. Suddenly Aoba's forced to dig into what's really going on in his home, because if he doesn't figure out the mystery, his quiet life isn't going to stay quiet for long.
