Synopsis

In a world of anthropomorphic animals, carnivores have always had it rough—most herbivores just assume they're mindless predators anyway. Then an alpaca student named Tem gets killed right there at Cherryton High School, and suddenly everyone's terrified of carnivores. Legoshi is a gray wolf and student at the school, but he's kind of awkward despite looking intimidating as hell. The murder throws his whole school life into chaos, forcing him to grapple with the herbivore-carnivore divide and figure out where he actually fits in. Things get messier when he catches feelings for a herbivore—though whether those feelings are what he thinks they are is another question entirely. Beastars follows Legoshi as he battles his own inner demons while navigating a society that's fundamentally hostile to creatures like him.
