Synopsis

Ritsuka's life is a mess. Two years back, he lost his memory and developed a completely different personality—and his mother won't let him forget it, constantly asking where the "real" Ritsuka went and occasionally hitting him over it. His older brother Seimei was his only real support, but he was recently murdered. Then Soubi shows up, claiming to be Seimei's friend. He tells Ritsuka his true name is "Loveless" and that Seimei left him with instructions to watch over and protect him. Before Ritsuka knows what's happening, he's pulled into some bizarre underground world where teams battle it out—a Fighter and a Sacrifice working together, using elaborate, poetic spells to fight. Now Ritsuka's trying to figure out two things: how to accept who he actually is, and who killed his brother and why.
