During the war, people with magical abilities were forced to power magical tanks by biting special magic plates. Even after the fighting officially ended, rogue tanks continued to destroy everything in their path. Nina spent years trapped in one of these tanks, forced to use her magic to fuel it in combat. By the time she escaped, she was homeless and desperate—so desperate she tried to steal food just to survive. That's when she ran into a group of girls operating their own tank. Instead of turning her away, they took her in. These girls are part of a private tank squad called the Rabbits, and they patrol their town taking down rogue tanks. After everything she'd been through, Nina didn't trust their kindness at first. But she soon realized they actually meant it. She joined up with the Rabbits, ready to use her power to protect people instead of destroy them.
