Synopsis

A long time ago, a feudal lord was obsessed with konnyaku—the jelly-like food made from devil's tongue root. He loved it so much that he hired a ninja family to protect the best konnyaku makers in the region. Fast forward to modern day, and that protection detail is still going strong. Mamo-kun, the youngest member of the ninja clan, has taken on the job of looking after Yuuna, a sweet but hopelessly naive girl. He spends most of his time shielding her from actual dangers, though honestly, she's usually her own worst enemy.
