Synopsis

Hideyoshi is a homeless kid scraping by in near-future New York, making money by hustling other kids at basketball. Then he gets drafted to a pro team—except this isn't your typical sports story. Aliens have basically taken over professional basketball, dominating humans with their superior athleticism until human players nearly disappeared from the game entirely. Hideyoshi's new team is something else though: the first all-human roster in the Space League. They're out to prove humans can still compete and bring the championship back to Earth.
