Synopsis

What makes something a monster? A bloodthirsty vampire? Frankenstein's creature? Shuichi Kagaya seems pretty normal on the surface—good grades, athletic, the whole package. Except he's got a secret: he's not actually human anymore. One morning he just woke up transformed. Now he's got inhuman strength, a sense of smell way too sharp, giant fluffy paws, and all the depression and self-loathing that comes with losing your humanity. His entire life got turned upside down overnight. The girl he'd tried to save, Claire Aoki, found out what happened and now uses it as leverage against him. Claire's a twisted sadist with basically no empathy for anyone around her. Before meeting Shuichi, she was obsessed with finding monsters—specifically her own sister, who'd apparently become one. Even after his transformation, Shuichi stubbornly clings to his human morals and values. But how long can he actually keep that up when everything about his situation is designed to break him down?
