Synopsis

It's a new school year, and Kuroki ends up sitting next to Mai Chihara—you know, the girl everyone avoids. She's got the whole goth look down: black hair, dark clothes, that unsettling stare. People call her a "landmine girl," figure she's probably unstable or dangerous or whatever. But when Kuroki accidentally gets on her radar, he quickly realizes she's nothing like the rumors suggest. Turns out she's actually pretty sweet, just. weird. So Kuroki starts learning more about Chihara and all her strange habits. Is there actually a real person under all that dark aesthetic, or is the creepy vibe the real deal?
