Synopsis

Kaboku Kotani is starting high school with a simple plan: stick with his friends, keep his head down, and avoid standing out. With a stutter, drawing attention seems like the last thing he needs. Then he spots Hikari Wanda, another first-year, dancing completely unselfconsciously—like nobody's watching, or like she doesn't care if they are. It plants a seed in his head: what if he could feel that kind of freedom? Desperate to connect with her, Kaboku does the unthinkable and joins the dance club. It's the first real step toward finding his own way. As Kaboku and Wanda get closer through dance, they discover there's a lot more to life than staying safe.
