Synopsis

High school was supposed to be a fresh start after a disastrous middle school relationship. Then my ex showed up—and not just at my school, but in my actual house. Turns out our parents got together, making us stepsiblings. So much for escaping her. Now she's everywhere. Class, home, the halls—there's nowhere to hide. And on top of everything, she insists she's the older sibling. Yeah, right. I'm the older one in this new family setup, and I'm not about to let her forget it. Here's the thing though: what we had before is dead. We both saw who we really are and realized we were never right for each other. Sure, we put on a good act for our parents—all smiles and sibling harmony—but that's all it is. An act. Things will never go back to how they were. We made sure of that.
