The Seraphim are divine beings whose presence shapes the world in unseen ways. Humans capable of communicating with them are called Shepherds—and the purest among them can wield Seraphim power themselves. Some revere these empowered Shepherds as saints; others fear them and call them demons. Sorey has lived his whole life in the Divine Forest, a sacred place where he coexists peacefully with countless Seraphim. He spends his days exploring nearby ruins with his Seraphim best friend Mikleo, hoping to uncover secrets about the Seraphim and their past. His curiosity is fueled by an old tome filled with their legends. Everything changes when a cave-in traps Sorey, Mikleo, and a young knight named Alisha. She's been investigating a string of catastrophes hitting the world, and Sorey begins to suspect the Seraphim might be connected to what's happening. Determined to get answers, he leaves the Divine Forest for the first time to travel with Alisha and uncover the truth.
