Alien Nine
Alien 9
Sixth-grader Yuri Otani gets elected to the Alien Party at Elementary School 9, joining classmates Kumi Kawamura and Kasumi Tomine as the school's official defense against extraterrestrial invasions. Their job is simple in theory—capture any aliens that show up, don't kill them—but they've got help in the form of symbiotic creatures called Borgs that attach to their heads and shield them from harm. Their teacher Ms. Megumi Hisakawa oversees the whole operation. The problem? Yuri is terrified of aliens. Seriously terrified. She either passes out the moment she sees one or freezes up completely, which means Kumi, Kasumi, and her own Borg end up doing most of the actual work. Ms. Hisakawa keeps telling them that the stronger their bond with their Borgs becomes, the better they'll perform in the field. But it's starting to seem like maybe there's more going on here than just alien defense. Maybe there's a bigger reason the Alien Party exists—and a deeper connection between the girls and their Borgs—that nobody's talking about yet.
