Synopsis

Utena Tenjou transfers to Ohtori Academy and finds herself caught up in a bizarre dueling system centered around her classmate Anthy Himemiya. Apparently winning these duels gives you power over Anthy, though what that actually means isn't entirely clear. To complicate things, Utena reconnects with Touga Kiryuu, an old childhood friend who shows up at the academy—and he seems to know way more about what's really going on with these duels than he's letting on.
