When a friend jokes that he should "power up" his personal life, Akira takes it literally and builds himself an artificial girlfriend called No. 0. The thing is, No. 0 starts out programmed to be the perfect partner—but she gradually develops real feelings of her own, leaving her caught between what she was designed to do and what she actually wants.
