Kagemusha Tokugawa Ieyasu
During the Keicho era, with war between the Toyotomi and Tokugawa brewing at Sekigahara, a wandering warrior named Jirosaburo serves as Tokugawa Ieyasu's shadow—the two men are so alike that almost nobody can tell them apart. An assassin working within the army's ranks spots the difference, though, and manages to kill the real Ieyasu. Jirosaburo seizes the moment to assume Ieyasu's identity and take on his role in unifying Japan.
