Synopsis

Kae Serinuma is obsessed with boys' love—so much so that she'd rather watch two guys fall for each other than experience romance herself. As an overweight high school girl, she spends her time fangirling over fictional characters and shipping her classmates Nozomu Nanashima and Yuusuke Igarashi, convinced their every interaction is proof of a budding romance. Everything changes when her favorite anime character dies. Devastated, Kae locks herself away for a week without seeing anyone. When she finally emerges, she's transformed into a total knockout. Suddenly, the boys she used to admire from a distance are all competing for her attention—but that's the last thing she wants. Kae would much rather they be interested in each other. As these guys fight for her heart, she drags them into her wild fujoshi fantasies, forcing them to confront her very unique (and chaotic) view of romance.
