Synopsis

Touta Konoe has spent his entire childhood in a quiet rural village, dreaming of reaching the capital and seeing the legendary tower that supposedly stretches into space. His teacher and guardian, Yukihime, has made a deal with him: defeat her in combat, and she'll let him go. It's supposed to be his path forward. That plan falls apart when a bounty hunter shows up looking to collect a reward on Yukihime's head. Desperate to protect her and his friends, Touta does the unthinkable on Yukihime's orders—he drinks her blood. It transforms him into an immortal creature powerful enough to take down the hunter. The truth comes out: Yukihime is actually Evangeline Athanasia Katherine McDowell, a vampire who's been around for centuries. With her cover blown, she and Touta have no choice but to flee to the capital together. What starts as an escape becomes something much bigger—an adventure that completely reshapes both their lives.
