In 2022, Sword Art Online launches as a revolutionary VRMMORPG powered by NerveGear, a headset that lets players fully immerse themselves in the game world by directly stimulating their brain waves. It's gaming at its most cutting-edge—or so it seems. The moment the game goes live, everything goes wrong. Players quickly realize there's no logout button.
