Braves of the Six Flowers Every 300 years, the Evil God awakens and brings catastrophe. To stop it, the Spirit of Fate selects six heroes called the Braves of the Six Flowers, marking them with a special crest. But when the chosen ones finally gather, there's a problem—seven show up instead of six. Adlet Mayer, an arrogant mercenary who claims to be the world's strongest man, is one of the seven. The others include Princess Nashetania, a loyal knight named Goldov, a cat-like assassin called Hans, the unpredictable Chamo, stern Mora, and the distant Fremy Speeddraw. Since there's only supposed to be six, the obvious conclusion is that one of them is a traitor sent to sabotage the group from the inside. Everyone's suspicions land on Adlet. Forced to go on the run and prove he's not the imposter, he has to clear his name while the other Braves grow increasingly paranoid and turn on each other. Meanwhile, the Evil God's servants are counting down the days until their master returns.
