Suisei no Gargantia
Far in the future, the Human Galactic Alliance is locked in a desperate war against a disgusting alien race known as the Hidiaazu. During a brutal battle, a young lieutenant named Redo and his humanoid mecha Chamber get pulled through a temporal distortion and vanish from the fight. Redo wakes up from cryogenic sleep to find himself on Earth—a world thought lost to history. The planet is almost entirely ocean now, and humanity survives by living on massive fleet ships that dive down to salvage artifacts from the seafloor. Redo crashes onto one of these fleets, Gargantia, with no idea what's happened or where he is. Completely out of his depth, he gets paired with Amy, a 15-year-old messenger girl who works the fleet. For Redo, whose entire life has been defined by combat and survival, adjusting to this peaceful world is a constant shock.
