Asuka Masamune is obsessed with cute, fluffy, and sweet things—much to his mother's embarrassment. After his father left and the family fell apart, Asuka got pressured into ditching his interests for martial arts. Now he's a nationally ranked kendo captain who projects pure masculinity, even though it's not who he really is. Things change when he meets Ryo Miyakozuka, a transfer student who's basically his opposite. She's got zero interest in traditionally feminine stuff and instead sports a powerful kick and an attitude to match. Asuka's friend Juta sees an opportunity: he secretly publishes shoujo manga and wants to use Ryo as material for his stories. He pushes Asuka to get close to her.
