Deadman Wonderland
After a massive earthquake leveled Tokyo, Deadman Wonderland emerged from the ruins—a privately-owned prison disguised as an amusement park. It lures tourists with the promise of entertainment while secretly using inmates from across Japan as disposable attractions. Nobody outside knows what really goes on behind the scenes. Ganta Igarashi was just a normal middle schooler living in the post-earthquake world until everything fell apart. A masked killer called the Red Man slaughters his entire class and leaves him for dead. When Ganta wakes up, he's arrested for the murders he didn't commit and shipped off to Deadman Wonderland. Now his survival depends on winning deadly games rigged against him. But there's more to the story. Shiro, a girl claiming to be Ganta's childhood friend, is already waiting for him inside the prison. And she seems to know way too much about the Red Man and what really happened.
