Except that's not really what happened. The truth is, the Rangers won pretty quickly. Within a year, they'd already beaten the Monster Army into submission. Now the invaders are basically enslaved, forced to produce one new monster every single week so the Rangers have something to fight in front of their cheering crowds. It's become a whole spectacle. But one of the monsters has had enough. He's done playing along. He's going to turn everything upside down by infiltrating the Rangers themselves—and bring them down from the inside.
