The student, Aoi, decided to enroll in the school in pursuit of her childhood friend Yuuna since they had not seen each other in six months. Surprised by Aoi's sudden appearance, Yuuna explains why she had distanced herself from Aoi: Yuuna is a vampire—and so are all the students of Vlad Academy. Although Aoi accepts Yuuna's confession, Yuuna informs Aoi that she must hide her identity as a human, as not all vampires on campus are friendly toward her kind.
