After the Great Demon War decimated the Flower Divisions of the Imperial, Paris, and New York Combat Revues in 1930, Earth finally found peace. Once their work became common knowledge, the World Combat Revue Organization was established, complete with international divisions and a biennial tournament. By 1940, the Imperial Combat Revue had been reorganized with a new Flower Division in Tokyo, commanded by Imperial Japanese Navy captain Seijuurou Kamiyama. His team includes Sakura Amamiya, a young swordswoman just joining up; Hatsuho Shinonome, a shrine maiden and the division's biggest star; Anastasia Palma, a Greek actress new to the group; Azami Mochizuki, a ninja prodigy from her clan; and Clarise Snowflake, a Luxembourgian noblewoman. The division has to juggle fighting off another demon invasion, competing in the international tournament, and keeping the Imperial Theater—their home base—from shutting down.
