Synopsis

Yukari's the troublemaker type—dyed hair, painted nails, older boyfriend. That's pretty much her whole relationship, honestly. They just hit up karaoke boxes and hook up. Her mom hates it. Miki's the opposite. Quiet, smart, classically beautiful in that understated Japanese way. She keeps to herself, mostly lost in books. When they get stuck sharing a desk at the start of the school year, Yukari's immediately annoyed. She writes Miki off as just another boring good girl. But then one afternoon, Yukari catches Miki alone in the art room doing something unexpected—gently kissing a statue of Mars. It hits her out of nowhere. Her heart starts racing. Then someone walks in and sees them both there. In that moment, everything between them shifts.
