Synopsis

Van wakes up after infected dogs attack a group of miners, and he's got newfound superhuman strength. He breaks out of his chains pretty easily—turns out he was being held as a slave despite his soldier background. There's a young girl who survived the attack too, and she's the only other one left alive. The two manage to escape the mine, but they've got problems. Van's former captors are hunting them down, and there's a deadly disease spreading through the area. Staying alive while on the run isn't going to be simple.
