The online Let's Play community knows The Ones Within - Genome as an infamous game. Nobody's ever beaten it, and anyone who gets close tends to disappear. Akatsuki Iride is a popular streamer known for being genuinely likable and good at connecting with people. While playing the game, he stumbles into a hidden stage and gets transported to a weird forest. He's not alone—there are seven other streamers trapped with him. Karin loves horror games, Kaikoku does Sengoku-period content, Himiko streams nurturing sims, Anya's a fighting game expert, Yuzu specializes in puzzles, Zakuro is all about stealth games, and Makino streams romance titles. To escape, they need to hit one hundred million concurrent viewers. That means they're stuck doing a nonstop livestream together, forced to use their individual skills to keep a global audience entertained—or they're trapped forever.
