Ancient gods are invading Earth and possessing humans, forcing their darkest impulses to the surface. The most dangerous of these possessed are called mages. The story follows two of them: Yoguruma Mugen, who serves Yogusutoosu, and Narukami Chikage, bound to Nyarlathotep. Their tense relationship gets even more complicated when a seemingly ordinary girl enters the picture, pulling everyone into a morally ambiguous world where nothing is clearly good or evil. In this harsh reality, the characters struggle to hold onto their humanity no matter what.
