Synopsis

Three months have passed since Mina, the vampire queen, took back the Bund. Things between vampires and humans are still pretty tense, but they're trying to rebuild and move forward. That's the surface story, anyway. Someone's got it out for Reiko Gotoh, a government liaison, and her lycanthrope bodyguard Seiji Hama has vanished without a trace. To figure out where Hama went—and why—you have to look back at how these two first got together. What happened between them in the past might be the only thing that can save Gotoh now and keep the whole Vampire Bund from falling apart.
