Synopsis

A woman dies under mysterious circumstances in the forest. The swordsmith Amon discovers an infant boy beside her body and decides to raise him. Fast forward about a decade—the boy, now called Gai and trained as Amon's apprentice, loses his right arm in a terrible accident while forging a blade. Rather than leave him crippled, Amon takes an ancient sword called Shiryuu, a weapon cursed with demonic power, and transforms it into an artificial limb for Gai. That's where everything changes. What follows is the story of a boy bound to a demonic weapon, forced into an endless cycle of brutal combat and a destiny he never chose. It works both ways: you could call it the tale of "a beautiful weapon and an ugly person," or flip it to "the cruelty of weapons and the beauty of humans." Either way, it's a completely fresh take on comic noir.
