Synopsis

Kei's just a high school kid, but he's one of the city's most skilled and cutthroat mahjong players—something most people have no idea about. He doesn't talk much, but his sharp observation skills, iron will, and years of experience let him hold his own against wealthy, powerful, and dangerous opponents. Right now he's secretly harboring Amina, a girl who entered the country illegally, and doing whatever it takes to keep her from being deported. By day he sleeps through classes; by night he plays high-stakes mahjong, always hoping the next game will bring him a real challenge.
