Synopsis

Kazunari Usa gets his wish to move out when his parents let him stay at Kawai Complex, a rundown boarding house where his landlady feeds him and his parents cover rent. He's ready to start high school with the peaceful, independent life he's always wanted. Except that's not really how it goes. His first surprise is learning he'll be sharing a room with Shirosaki, a complete masochist. Then there's Mayumi Nishikino, a perpetually drunk woman with a nonexistent love life, and Sayaka Watanabe, who looks innocent but definitely isn't. Oh, and the real reason he was actually okay with this whole boarding house thing—Ritsu Kawai, a second-year student he's had his eye on, also lives there. As Kazunari settles in, it becomes pretty clear that living in Kawai Complex isn't going to be the quiet escape he imagined. His weird new housemates are going to make sure of that.
