RDG: Red Data Girl
A modern fantasy inspired by Japanese Shinto mythology. Suzuhara Izumiko is a shy 15-year-old who's spent her whole life sheltered in a remote shrine in the Kumano mountains. She has an odd problem—any electronic device she touches stops working. When she expresses interest in leaving the mountains for city life, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa pushes her to attend high school in Tokyo and forces his son Miyuki to become her lifelong protector, whether he likes it or not. Miyuki and Izumiko start off completely at odds, but everything changes after a terrifying incident during a school field trip. The accident forces them both to confront their true roles: Izumiko discovers she's the last yorishiro—a human vessel for a goddess—and Miyuki learns he's bound to protect her as a Yamabushi, a sacred mountain guardian.
