Synopsis

Ancient demons that nearly destroyed the world get brought back by someone. To stop them, they need to be sealed away—a job only the shrine maiden Shion can do. She comes from the demon realm and has two abilities: she can seal demons, and she can predict how people will die. Naruto gets assigned to protect her, but then she predicts his death. If he leaves to avoid her, Shion loses her bodyguard and the demon after her will kill her, which means the world ends. So Naruto decides to fight against the prediction itself, refusing to accept it. But in the end, his efforts don't change anything—he dies anyway.
